ACIMUS, Inc. has successfully completed a seed round financing, raising a total of approximately 65 million yen through a third-party allotment of shares. Link Capital joined as the lead investor, with Incubate Fund and JR East Startup participating as underwriters. In addition, the company has entered into a capital and business alliance with JR East Startup.
Established in September 2024, the company is developing "ACIMUS," a cloud service that allows users to create and edit building BIM (Building Information Modeling) models through dialogue with generative AI. Operating directly in web browsers, the service promotes adoption as a "LiteBIM" solution. This enables users without specialized BIM software experience to leverage BIM from the initial stages of a project, such as planning, volume studies, and basic design.
The newly raised capital will be allocated to the following initiatives. First, it will be used to convert existing buildings into BIM models and streamline maintenance operations, expanding application to railway stations based on the results of demonstration experiments with the JR East Group. Second, it will accelerate functional development to expedite decision-making in the early design stages, including enhanced development of the architectural design AI "ACIMUS KIWARI." Third, the funds will support the transition from trial implementations to full-scale adoption and the horizontal deployment of successful use cases.
