ADVATEC Inc. has successfully raised approximately 160 million yen through a third-party allotment of shares to multiple individual investors. This latest round brings the company's total cumulative funding to approximately 760 million yen.
Founded in July 2020, ADVATEC operates under the mission of "liberating healthcare professionals from documentation tasks to create a medical environment focused on patient care." The company’s flagship offering is Koecal, a specialized AI-powered medical charting assistant, alongside its SNS marketing operations, including the AI influencer platform Beee.
Koecal is a medical-grade AI voice service designed to automatically generate SOAP-formatted charts from conversations during clinical consultations. Since its official launch in June 2026, the service has seen rapid adoption, reaching 300 medical institutions within just seven months (as of the end of July 2026). Beyond simple voice-to-text transcription, the platform integrates historical patient data to streamline the entire documentation workflow.
The newly raised capital will be allocated toward accelerating product development for Koecal and strengthening the company's operational infrastructure. Looking ahead, ADVATEC plans to enhance API integrations with web-based patient questionnaires and electronic health record (EHR) systems, aiming to evolve the platform into an "AI Medical Assistant" that actively supports a physician's clinical decision-making process. Additionally, the company intends to scale its sales and customer success teams to provide tailored support and expand its footprint in the medical market.
