AIBORN Inc., the developer of the AI-powered medical documentation tool "Katanashi," has announced a capital and business alliance with Medical Data Vision Co., Ltd. (MDV), which maintains one of Japan’s largest clinical databases. This partnership is designed to deepen the collaboration between the two companies as they work to accelerate digital transformation (DX) within the healthcare sector.
AIBORN is a specialized tech firm dedicated to reducing the administrative burden of medical record-keeping through its AI-driven solution, "Katanashi." Designed for use in consultations and medical conferences, the platform transcribes spoken dialogue and leverages AI to automatically generate draft summaries in formats such as SOAP (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan). By automating documentation tasks traditionally handled via manual keyboard entry, AIBORN aims to create a healthcare environment where practitioners can spend more time focusing on patient interactions and team communication.
MDV has been serving as a sales distributor for "Katanashi" since August 2025, facilitating its rollout to medical institutions. Through this capital alliance, the two companies will enhance their cooperation across product development, sales operations, and post-implementation support. By quickly reflecting feedback from the field into product updates, the partners intend to drive the adoption of the platform across a wider range of medical facilities.
