In Earth's gravity environment, thermal convection and buoyancy during the crystal growth process are unavoidable, imposing physical limits on chip purity and layer uniformity. By developing a manufacturing process in a microgravity environment, Besxar aims to overcome these challenges and realize high-performance chips that surpass conventional technology.
In next-generation semiconductor manufacturing, crystal growth in a space environment is expected to bring about major breakthroughs. By collaborating with SpaceX to secure payload delivery to orbit and sustainable transportation means, Besxar is setting its sights on transitioning from experimental manufacturing to a practical mass-production system.
