The BEYOND Executive Committee (comprising taliki Inc., Kyoto City, and Kyoto Research Park Corp.) has announced the full details for "BEYOND 2026," a social conference scheduled to take place on Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, 2026, at the Kyoto Research Park. The central theme for this year is "Together, Exploring What We Can Do for Peace."
The conference will feature a total of approximately 40 guest speakers across eight themed talk sessions. Discussions will unfold from various perspectives, including business and peace, public health and peacebuilding, and the concept of "related population" (Kankei-jinko). Furthermore, experiential programs incorporating role-playing games, theater, and live music have been introduced, thoughtfully designed to help attendees internalize peacebuilding as a personal responsibility.
To support the next generation of social entrepreneurs, two pitch stages will be established. The "SCALE PITCH," targeting startups around the pre-Series A to Series A stages, and the "COM-PJ FINAL PITCH," serving as the culmination of an incubation program, will feature a total of 19 entrepreneurs presenting their business ventures.
An interactive networking space dubbed "BEYOND COMMONS" will be set up within the venue to encourage serendipitous encounters and collaboration among participants. The initiative aims to form an ecosystem that goes beyond a mere information-gathering venue, sparking concrete dialogues aimed at solving social challenges.
