taliki, a firm dedicated to supporting social impact innovators, has partnered with Kyoto City and Kyoto Research Park Corp. to form the BEYOND Executive Committee. Together, they will host the "BEYOND 2026" social conference on October 30th and 31st, 2026. Ahead of the main event, a pre-event tour will visit seven regions across Japan, beginning in Tokyo.
Marking its 10th anniversary, BEYOND 2026 seeks to redefine "peace" as a fundamental infrastructure—a prerequisite for social and economic prosperity. The conference aims to bring together social entrepreneurs, corporations, investors, government officials, and NPOs to engage in critical discussions and co-create sustainable social infrastructures.
Starting in Tokyo on August 7th, the pre-event tour will travel to seven distinct locations, including Ama Town (Shimane), Sendai, Kyushu, Osaka, Okayama, and Kyoto. Each stop will focus on key themes such as economic security, impact investment, regional ecosystems, and rule-making, featuring sessions and pitches from local leaders.
Through this initiative, the organizers aim to facilitate tangible partnerships, such as business collaborations between corporations and social entrepreneurs, regional pilot projects, and increased impact investment. By leveraging the network built over the past nine iterations of the event, BEYOND 2026 seeks to elevate the entire ecosystem dedicated to solving the next generation of social challenges.
