The Osaka Innovation Hub (operated by the Osaka Industrial Promotion Organization) has announced that the final pitch event for "BizCon OSAKA"—a business plan contest designed to support entrepreneurs creating new value—will take place on October 27, 2026, at the Osaka Sangyo Sodo-kan. This contest serves as a "launchpad" to propel businesses into their next phase, supporting entrepreneurs who possess innovative business models but face resource barriers such as limited brand recognition, funding, and know-how.

Eight Finalists Set to Take the Stage

Following a rigorous selection process, the finalists have been chosen. The lineup features companies tackling social challenges across a diverse range of fields, including manufacturing, tourism, SaaS, healthcare, and environmental sustainability.

• inou: "inou PXRD," a system that digitizes and automates the analysis of intuition in materials development
• HubHug: A platform supporting ghost kitchen operations and store openings/closures for restaurants
• TERA TOURISM: Regional revitalization through temple-stay experiences
• Hojo HR: "HojoACS," a SaaS that automates everything from specialized analytical reporting to AIO (AI Optimization) countermeasures
• DEKIRU WORKS: "Dekiru Camp Academy," a learning platform for camping skills
• 100: "NCT," a next-generation simplified testing service accessible in everyday living spaces
• Foricia Technologies: Research and development of "IZNM-2," an implantation promoter aimed at improving success rates
• Behomal: Mass production of CO2 absorbents and a resource circulation model titled "#CO2 is Love"

Overview of the Final Pitch and Judging Process

At the October 27 event, winners will be determined following final evaluations by a panel of experts and investors. In addition to a total prize pool of 1 million yen, finalists will receive comprehensive business support. The event will also feature a talk session by past winners and a networking reception, offering a vibrant glimpse into the startup ecosystem.
