The Charming Care General Incorporated Association has announced that it has received a donation from Daidan Corporation to support the development and operation of its "Q Care"-related initiatives. The funds will be allocated as operating capital to continuously provide information and accompaniment support for children with illnesses or disabilities and their families.
Since its establishment in 2019, Charming Care has been a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the daily lives of children with illnesses or disabilities—areas that often fall outside the scope of traditional medical and welfare frameworks. The organization offers a diverse range of services aimed at improving children's QOL (Quality of Life), including appearance care, return-to-school support, and consultative accompaniment, while also actively engaging in policy recommendations to relevant government agencies such as the Children and Families Agency.
The donation will be utilized to maintain three core initiatives as well as strengthen the organization's development and operational structure:
1. Production and distribution of the hospital information magazine "Q Care Tsushin -Hospital-": Free provision to 161 facilities, including pediatric cancer centers.
2. Operation and development of the web application "Q Care base": Enhancing features such as the "Pre-consultation Navigation" and "Appearance Care Information Navigation."
3. Provision of "Q Care Mentoring": Supporting children through dialogue as they articulate and process the challenges they face.
With this donation as a catalyst, Charming Care aims to move beyond one-off activities and build a sustainable framework to ensure that necessary support reaches those in need on an ongoing basis.
