Empirik, a platform that predicts and prevents IT system outages before they occur, has raised $21 million in funding. The round was led by Sequoia Capital.
Empirik is a startup born out of Sequoia Capital's incubation program. Operating in today's increasingly complex IT infrastructure environments, the company focuses on delivering AI-driven predictive technology to minimize the business losses caused by downtime.
The newly raised funds will be used to accelerate the technological development of early-stage anomaly detection and predictive management, as well as to strengthen go-to-market operations. Empirik aims to build a proactive, next-generation infrastructure management foundation that helps enterprises enhance the stability of their IT systems.
