Essen, Inc., a provider of mobility data-driven advertising and infrastructure inspection services, has secured additional funding through a third-party allotment with the "TAKANAWA GATEWAY Earth Contribution Investment Limited Partnership," managed by Global Brain Corporation. Global Brain served as the lead investor for this funding round.
Operating under the mission "Adding Value to Movement," Essen is building a mobility data platform that integrates and analyzes driving data collected from vehicles such as taxis and delivery trucks. By doing so, the company provides a wide range of solutions including advertising effectiveness visualization, advanced marketing, pedestrian flow analysis, and infrastructure maintenance. Since its establishment in August 2021, the company has been headquartered in Kawasaki City.
Essen currently deploys rooftop signage-equipped vehicles for targeted advertising in Gunma and Fukuoka prefectures, while simultaneously advancing the development and demonstration of water pipe leak detection technology combining in-vehicle infrared sensors and AI analysis. Moving forward, the company aims to build a sustainable business foundation that integrates information dissemination via signage and data collection on the same mobility network, generating diverse social value from everyday travel. Furthermore, through pedestrian flow analysis and effectiveness measurement projects at TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY, Essen plans to accelerate the creation of multifaceted social value.
