Fivot Inc. has executed a 300 million yen loan to Funds, Inc., the operator of "Funds"—a direct financing platform connecting individual investors with growing companies—through its startup-focused debt financing service, "Flex Capital." This transaction serves as a strategic funding initiative to bolster the business growth of the Funds Group.
Operating under the mission of "Redirecting capital flows to increase the aggregate amount of 'affluence,'" Funds develops the "Funds" direct financing platform, which enables individuals to invest from just 1 yen into funds issued by growing companies. Since its founding in 2016, the company has accumulated over 140 billion yen in total fund formation. In recent years, it has been promoting diversification within the financial sector, including startup support and global business expansion.
This loan is a result of Fivot's high evaluation of the Funds Group's steady business track record and the operational framework supporting it. By utilizing rapid and flexible debt financing within its diversifying business structure, Funds aims to further accelerate its growth momentum. Furthermore, both companies resonate with the shared mission of "creating a new flow of money for a new industrial structure," aiming to enrich society through appropriate credit creation.
