Genba Hub Inc., the provider of the construction-focused vertical AI "Genba Hub," has announced the completion of a 70 million yen funding round. The round welcomed a strategic corporate investor alongside existing investors Firstlight Capital and D4V. This latest infusion brings the company's total funding to approximately 340 million yen.
Operating under the mission to "accompany the transformation of the construction industry," the company offers a vertical AI platform that centrally manages project progress, schedules, photos, and reports on construction sites, while enabling automation through AI. A key feature of the platform is its intuitive user interface, designed so that even on-site workers who are unfamiliar with IT tools can easily operate it from PCs and smartphones.
Funds raised in this round will be allocated toward strengthening the development structure for AI agents and MCP servers, which the company has been advancing. Additionally, Genba Hub has officially released a new feature: the "AI Payment Management Function." This feature automates processes ranging from invoice reading and project association to cost reflection. For example, an HVAC installation company successfully reduced its invoice processing time from two days to just one hour, demonstrating tangible results in operational efficiency. Moving forward, the company aims to accelerate these technological developments and maximize the value delivered to its customers.
