HEARTBEATS Inc. has completed a Series C funding round totaling approximately 2.3 billion yen through a third-party allotment of shares. This round also includes approximately 200 million yen in secondary share transfers by existing shareholders, bringing the total transaction scale to roughly 2.5 billion yen. Artemis No. 1 Investment Limited Partnership participated as the lead investor, alongside a total of 14 investors.
Founded in November 2017 under the philosophy "Be the heartbeat that resonates through the world," the company operates a fan engagement business in the sports and entertainment sectors. Its flagship service, the digital trading card collection platform "ORICAL®," has been adopted by 26 partners, including 10 professional baseball teams (as of September 2026), creating new fan experiences through digital merchandise linked with live games and events.
The newly raised funds will be strategically allocated to the following four key areas:
1. Enhancement of ORICAL®: Strengthening game-linked features and leveraging AI to streamline production and operations.
2. Partner Acquisition and Development: Securing new partners and investing in dedicated product development.
3. Expansion of New Businesses: Exploring collaborations in peripheral areas of the fan value chain, such as physical trading card production, ticketing, and membership management.
4. Strengthening Organizational Infrastructure: Expanding the engineering team and operational structure, and accelerating recruitment across all roles.
