Instagram has begun rolling out a new feature that allows users to display posts in which they have been tagged directly on their main profile grid. Previously, tagged posts were managed in a separate, dedicated tab. Moving forward, users will have the option to feature specific tagged posts alongside their own content on their main profile screen.
With this update, Instagram users can not only set tagged posts from other users to "show" or "hide" on their profiles, but they can also pin and arrange specific posts directly on their grid. This makes it much easier to curate a profile that aligns with their personal brand image and aesthetic preferences.
This update aims to increase the flexibility of self-expression on user profiles. By lifting the strict limitation of displaying tagged posts solely in the separate "tagged tab," Instagram has introduced a design enhancement that allows users to intuitively manage their portfolios and overall feed appearance.
This new feature is being rolled out globally to all users in phases. Instagram plans to continue strengthening personalization capabilities for profile management and expanding the scope of self-expression within the platform moving forward.
