TX Entrepreneur Partners (TEP) has officially launched the application period for the 11th "J-TECH STARTUP 2026" certification program for deep-tech startups, starting September 15, 2026. This program targets seed and early-stage technology startups, aiming to accelerate business growth and social implementation through official certification.
The certification process involves rigorous screening based on four key criteria: "business innovation," "economic scalability," "social impact," and "execution capability." Eligible candidates include startups centered on proprietary technologies in fields such as AI, space technology, robotics, biotechnology, and clean energy. Selected companies will secure presentation opportunities at the "J-TECH STARTUP SUMMIT" scheduled for February 26, 2027, alongside receiving continuous matching support and expert mentoring.
Since its establishment in 2009, TEP has collaborated with research institutions and universities along the Tsukuba Express line to build a unique deep-tech ecosystem. Over the past decade, 65 certified companies have collectively raised over 53 billion yen following their certification, establishing the program as a vital gateway for technology startups.
The application deadline is Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 23:59. Certified companies will be granted a one-year free usage pass for the Kashiwa-no-ha Open Innovation Lab (KOIL) provided by Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd., as well as comprehensive support for global expansion and media exposure to drive exponential growth.
