Funding Overview

JPYC Inc., the issuer and operator of the Japanese yen-pegged stablecoin "JPYC," has announced the completion of an extension to its Series B funding round. This latest injection brings the company's total cumulative funding for the Series B round to approximately 6 billion yen. The capital is earmarked for expanding the ecosystem across both the financial and Web3 sectors.

About JPYC Inc.

Founded in November 2019, JPYC Inc. has been active in the stablecoin business since 2021. In August 2025, the company registered as a Funds Transfer Service Provider and launched "JPYC," Japan's first Japanese yen-pegged stablecoin. Currently deployed across four major blockchains—Avalanche, Ethereum, Polygon, and Kaia—the company is focused on building a digital financial infrastructure characterized by transparency and low-cost remittance.

Objectives and Future Outlook

The newly raised capital will be utilized to accelerate the social implementation of JPYC. In alignment with the "Basic Policies for Economic and Fiscal Management and Reform 2026" approved by the Cabinet in July 2026, the company is intensifying its collaboration with the logistics industry to realize "on-chain finance"—a model that integrates commercial, logistical, and financial flows. Specifically, by combining the robust logistics network of investor AZ-COM Maruwa Holdings with JPYC’s payment functionality, the company aims to establish a new financial foundation deeply rooted in real-world business applications.
