Founded in 2018, LEBO ROBOTICS provides advanced solutions that optimize wind turbine maintenance through robotics. Specializing in blade inspection and repair—tasks that traditionally require high-altitude work—the company offers commercial services utilizing its proprietary robots. Its AI-driven visual inspection services boast a proven track record of over 1,000 wind turbines inspected domestically in Japan.
With this capital infusion, LEBO ROBOTICS will focus on three key initiatives. First, the company will advance the autonomous control of its robots by leveraging sensing technologies, 3D data, and AI to achieve fully automated operations. Second, leveraging the technological foundation established in Japan, it will accelerate its global expansion, primarily targeting the North American and European markets. Third, the company will aggressively recruit talent to strengthen its R&D and business development capabilities, aiming for global business growth driven by a tripartite operational structure spanning Japan, Europe, and the United States.
