Global Brain Corporation has invested as the lead investor in Milinda Inc., a startup aiming for the early detection of cancer through RNA modification analysis technology. The investment was executed through the "TAKANAWA GATEWAY Earth-Beneficial Investment Limited Partnership" (Takanawa Earth-Beneficial Fund) and the "Meiji Yasuda Future Co-Creation Investment Limited Partnership."
Milinda Inc. is a startup founded in April 2025, built upon technological seeds developed by Masamitsu Konno of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). Utilizing its proprietary technology for analyzing RNA modifications in blood, the company is developing early diagnostic technologies for diseases that are difficult to detect early due to minimal subjective symptoms, such as pancreatic and liver cancers. Under its mission, "Transforming undetected cancers into detectable ones," Milinda aims to revolutionize cancer medical care with its advanced technological capabilities.
This investment was decided in recognition of Milinda's technological prowess, management structure, and its corporate philosophy of "realizing a society free from the fear of cancer." Moving forward, the company plans to drive social implementation and business growth by leveraging the extensive networks and assets of limited partners—including East Japan Railway Company, which participates in the Takanawa Earth-Beneficial Fund—as well as through collaboration with Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company.
