Nessu Co., Ltd. announced on October 6, 2026, that it has executed a new fundraising scheme known as an "impact-focused equity procurement via a redeemable exit," which does not rely on an Initial Public Offering (IPO) or M&A, as part of its Series A first close. This scheme was designed following approximately four months of discussions with its lead investor, the Social X Impact Fund.
Traditional exit models centered around IPOs or M&A often pose constraints on profit margins and business continuity for enterprises that prioritize impact creation. This new scheme is built on the premise of repurchasing shares using profits generated through growth. Specifically, redemption is anticipated after 60 months, with established redemption rates of 1.5x or 2.0x. Nessu has made this contract scheme public in order to provide a viable financing option for other impact startups facing similar challenges.
Operating under the mission of realizing "a society where all children can fairly challenge the future," the company develops the following businesses:
Moving forward, Nessu will continue to drive business growth centered on impact creation while promoting the establishment of sustainable financing models for social issue-solving startups. In parallel, the company has released its "Impact Report 2026," which summarizes its activities for the fiscal year 2025, ensuring highly transparent communication with the public.
