PeopleX Inc., a company dedicated to solving challenges in the HR and sales domains, has raised a total of JPY 5.45 billion in its Series A round through a combination of equity and debt financing. This brings the company's cumulative funding to JPY 78.2 billion in just about two years since its establishment in September 2023. The newly secured capital will be allocated toward nationwide promotional campaigns for existing AI products, the development of new AI solutions, and personnel expenses aimed at expanding its sales network.
Operating under the corporate purpose of "Facing People," PeopleX is a comprehensive AI company that develops and deploys AI-driven products. Centered around services such as "PeopleX AI Interview," "PeopleX AI Role-Playing," and "PeopleX AI Meeting," the company's group-wide support track record exceeds 3,000 corporate clients. Since launching its AI products, the company's ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue) reached JPY 1 billion in just 15 months, achieving high growth with an ARR growth rate exceeding 17x over the past year.
Alongside this announcement, the company revealed the development of "Athena," a MotherAI OS designed as a foundational infrastructure for LLMs and AI products specialized in the HR domain. By integrating and learning from proprietary organizational and employee data, as well as market and industry information, Athena mitigates the risk of hallucinations while delivering decision-making support optimized for each company's unique context.
This fundraising is part of the company's mid-term business plan, which targets JPY 100 billion in sales by fiscal year 2031. Moving forward, in addition to diversifying its AI product lineup, PeopleX aims to drive global expansion—primarily focusing on the Asia-Oceania region—and pursue strategic M&As with a goal of bringing around 20 companies into its group by 2031, thereby establishing industry leadership as a premier AI company.
