Polyuse Inc. has secured 1.1 billion yen in debt financing from Mizuho Bank and The Shoko Chukin Bank. This round was executed through unsecured and unguaranteed loans, ensuring no equity dilution for existing shareholders. This latest infusion brings the company's cumulative funding total to approximately 5 billion yen.
Polyuse is a startup dedicated to solving critical challenges in the construction industry through advanced 3D printing technology. With a track record of over 300 completed projects—many of which were conducted under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism—the company has established a firm foothold in public works. Its flagship product, "Polyuse One," is a proprietary, mass-produced domestic construction 3D printer capable of automatically layering and forming structures directly from design data.
The newly acquired capital will be directed toward the development and market expansion of the "Polyuse One" construction 3D printer. Furthermore, Polyuse aims to advance its "Physical AI" capabilities, where the system continuously learns from on-site construction data to evolve with every project. By focusing on labor reduction, productivity improvements, and enhanced safety on construction sites, the company is striving to realize a more sustainable model for infrastructure maintenance.
Mizuho Bank and The Shoko Chukin Bank provided this financing in recognition of Polyuse’s high technical expertise, their commitment to addressing social issues, and their pioneering potential to fundamentally transform the construction industry.
