Through this partnership, the companies will push forward several major initiatives:
- Driver Application Launch: A pilot program for a dedicated driver app is scheduled to begin on September 1, 2026. The app aims to digitalize attendance management and inspection tasks while capturing critical operation data and load capacity rates.
- Advanced Management Tools: By enhancing data analysis within the existing "Truck Management Visualization" service, the partners will develop and provide AI-powered advisory tools for business optimization.
- Logistics Platform Development: The companies aim to build a comprehensive transportation and delivery platform by leveraging their extensive network of regional carriers.
Addressing Critical Industry Challenges
The trucking industry is currently facing a perfect storm of labor shortages, an aging workforce, and escalating costs. At many SME transport companies, manual processes—such as paper documents and fax machines—remain prevalent, hindering the effective collection and use of management data. Rokko Jitsugyo has already supported approximately 200 SME trucking companies through its visualization services. By integrating Project Holdings' deep expertise in Digital Transformation (DX) and AI implementation, the alliance aims to accelerate transformation driven by the needs of the front lines.
