Four Startups Shaping Saga's Future Chosen! Equity Fundraising Support Program Kicks Off

Overview of the Kickoff Event

As part of the "Finance" fundraising support initiative by RYO-FU BASE (Saga Prefecture Industrial Promotion Corporation), a kickoff event was held on July 30, 2026, for four businesses selected for the program. The program is designed to support regional businesses aiming for growth by helping them formulate business strategies and refine their pitches.

Selected Businesses and Program Objectives

The four businesses selected, each boasting unique strengths, are as follows:

• Retocos Co., Ltd.: Developing a circular brand utilizing local unutilized resources
• HiBee Co., Ltd.: Operating "Tsunagite," a support service for foreign workers
• Fishing Park Hirano: Developing an experiential outdoor resort facility
• tuneX Co., Ltd.: Building a business model that allows fans to support and utilize music copyrights

Starting from this event, each company will examine its growth potential, construct compelling narratives for investors, and flesh out their business plans.

The Importance of Regional Fundraising and Knowledge Sharing

A panel discussion was also held during the kickoff. Joined by experienced entrepreneurs and venture capitalists, participants discussed firsthand experiences with equity financing in regional areas and the importance of building trusting relationships with investors. They deepened their understanding of the added value that venture capitalists provide beyond funding, such as their networks and sales support.

Future Schedule

To prepare for the "Final Pitch" scheduled for February 2027, the four selected companies will refine their businesses through one-on-one expert mentoring and practical skill-enhancement seminars. Through this program, which begins in August 2026, each company has taken its first step toward the next stage of fundraising.
