Sakura City, Chiba Prefecture, is streaming an on-demand seminar titled "Startup Seminar for Service, Retail, and Restaurant Businesses" as part of its "Sakura Entrepreneurship Academy (Introductory Edition)" aimed at individuals interested in starting a business. The streaming period runs from October 9 to November 20, 2026, and participation is free.
This seminar allows participants to systematically learn the essential fundamentals required for launching a business:

2. Three steps for customer acquisition and sales promotion upon opening
3. Public relations activities utilizing social media and the web
4. Permits, licenses, and pre-opening checklists
5. Local support systems and subsidies
Manami Shikama, a Chiba Prefecture Yorozu Support Center coordinator specializing in web marketing and social media utilization, will serve as the instructor. The seminar aims to help participants acquire practical skills essential for modern entrepreneurship, such as customer acquisition methods leveraging digital tools. This initiative is co-hosted by Sakura City and the Chiba prefectural Foundation for Industrial Promotion (Chiba Yorozu Support Center).
Prospective attendees must apply via the "Chiba Electronic Application Service." Because it is an on-demand format, participants can take the course at their own convenience throughout the streaming period.
