On October 6, 2026, SECURITE Inc. concluded a basic agreement on a business partnership with Cayenne Inc., a company that plans and produces video content such as films. Through this partnership, the companies have launched a system that allows fans to participate in movie production as "creators" and share in the success of the works.
This partnership utilizes "business investment crowdfunding," a model that gathers support funding from individuals and corporations to produce films. SECURITE supports fund establishment, sales, and operations, while Cayenne handles the planning and production of the video works. Investors are able to support the production as enthusiasts and experience receiving distributions based on the project's performance.
As a kickoff for this partnership, a special preview screening will be held for the film "RYUJI" (scheduled for nationwide release in Japan on October 30, 2026), which received special sponsorship from Cayenne. Positioned as a remake of the 1983 masterpiece, it is seen as a fitting work to mark the beginning of this partnership of making movies together with fans.
The initiative aims to transition movies from something traditionally just "watched" to a model supported by fans "participating." Leveraging insights gained from the "Poupelle of Chimney Town: The Clockwork Tower Fund" implemented in October 2025, the companies aim to build a production environment where creators can take on new challenges more freely, and to expand a content business that walks hand-in-hand with fans.
