SportsTech Japan, Inc. has announced the completion of a third-party allotment of shares. The round was backed by BUNKLE Inc., NEOLAB Inc., existing investor Owls Business Partners Inc., and several angel investors. Baselink AI, the company's baseball-dedicated social networking service, surpassed 10,000 registered users within just three months of its official launch.
Founded in July 2022 under the mission of "Shaping the future of the sports industry through Sports and Technology," the company develops AI coaching technology optimized for athletes' physiques and physical conditions. It aims to eliminate opportunity gaps in sports training caused by regional and environmental disparities.
The newly raised capital will be used to expand the platform's social features and strengthen the AI-driven verbal coaching support infrastructure. Furthermore, the company plans to deepen partnerships with top-tier Japanese baseball academies, "tsuzuki BASE" and "NEOLAB," integrating frontline coaching expertise and movement theories into its AI. By building a new baseball development model that bridges "online community and real-world coaching," SportsTech Japan aims to create an environment where baseball enthusiasts nationwide can equally enjoy improving their skills.
