TAIAN Inc. has announced the successful closure of a Series B funding round, raising approximately ¥700 million through a third-party allotment of shares. The round saw participation from eight investors: Globis Capital Partners, JFR MIRAI CREATORS Fund, Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance, Pola Orbis Holdings, Ignition Point Venture Partners, Genesia Ventures, NOBUNAGA Capital Village, and Hokkaido Kyoso Partners.
Driven by the vision to "Move the world through celebrations," TAIAN is a startup dedicated to providing AI-driven products for the ¥20 trillion "celebration market," which encompasses weddings, events, hotels, and restaurants. Its flagship product, the cloud-based wedding and banquet system "Oiwaii," is currently utilized by approximately 400 venues across Japan. Additionally, the company is building an industry-specific data infrastructure through services such as the banquet coordinator agent "Canjii" and the digital invitation platform "Concept Marry."
The newly raised capital will be directed toward strengthening the organizational structure of its core wedding and banquet business and expanding its domestic market share. TAIAN also plans to invest in its burgeoning banquet platform business, enhance service offerings for complex facilities like hotels and restaurants, and launch a full-scale initiative targeting the inbound tourism sector. Ultimately, the company aims to establish a comprehensive vertical data infrastructure covering on-site operational processes, evolving into a holistic "Celebration Platform" powered by AI agents to drive further growth.
