Tellus Global, Inc. has completed a fundraising round totaling over 900 million yen in connection with a management buyout (MBO) led by Tellus's executive team. This capital was raised through a third-party allotment of shares, with Ant Innovations Investment Limited Partnership No. 1 and several other investors acting as underwriters.
Operating under the vision of "Creating the Space Information Industry, Taking on New Challenges," the company develops a satellite data platform (PaaS) business. By providing an integrated environment for satellite data storage, processing, and analysis, and through enterprise-oriented cloud workspace "Tellus Pro" and AI model development environment "Tellus AI Playground," the company promotes the utilization of satellite data across both public and private sectors.
With this funding, Tellus Global aims to strengthen its development framework for business expansion, update existing services, and acquire new projects. Moving forward, the company intends to integrate satellite data with AI technology to accelerate business deployment into high-growth sectors such as national security and overseas markets, ultimately elevating Japan's space industry into a core industry supporting the next generation.
