The Phage Inc. has announced that it has received additional investment for its ongoing Series A round from Genesia Venture Fund 3, managed by Genesia Ventures, Inc. Other participants in this round include Itochu Technology Ventures, Inc., Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd., Fukui Capital Partners Co., Ltd., and Vision Incubate Co., Ltd.
The Phage is a startup that develops AI-driven personalized preventive healthcare services and provides a "Continuous Glucose Foundation Model (CGFM)." In collaboration with research institutions such as Chiba University, the company is developing analytical models utilizing Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) data. Since its establishment in 2021, the company has aimed for the societal implementation of systems that visualize individual metabolic states and assess disease risks.

Looking ahead, the company aims to expand its business as a "pre-symptomatic disease platform" that enables a larger number of people to detect disease risks early.
