URALAA Inc., the developer and operator of the immersive live entertainment platform "URALAA," has entered into a business alliance with Mizuho Bank, Ltd. In addition, the company received investment from the Blue Lab No. 1 Investment Limited Partnership ("Blue Lab Fund"), operated by Blue Lab, Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Mizuho Bank. Combined with a previous funding round in June 2026 (210 million yen), this latest investment brings URALAA's total pre-Series A funding to 250 million yen.
URALAA is a company that recreates spatial VR through multi-screen video delivered via the cloud, utilizing its proprietary immersive live streaming technology. The company changed its trade name from Forest Digital, Inc. in September 2026. Without the need to construct dedicated facilities, the service transforms existing venues such as theaters, cinemas, and arenas into highly realistic immersive spaces, offering "front-row seats" that transcend the barriers of location and distance.
Through this partnership and investment, URALAA aims to strengthen its proprietary spatial VR technology and 8K immersive live video technology. By combining their respective expertise and networks, URALAA and Mizuho Bank plan to establish "experiential entertainment"—leveraging Japan's strong content capabilities—as a new export industry originating from Japan, with sights set on global market expansion.
