F Ventures LLP has officially announced the launch of "TORYUMON KYUSHU 2026 REBOOT," a premier startup festival dedicated to the U25 generation. Alongside the announcement, the firm has opened applications for the event's centerpiece pitch competition. This initiative is designed to foster a community that produces the next generation of founders and provide a clear entry point into the world of startups.
Scheduled for November 14, 2026, in Fukuoka City, the event will feature a select group of approximately five U25 entrepreneurs. The judging criteria include "Market and Timing (Why now?)", "Problem Definition", "Solution and Competitive Advantage", "Business Model", "Growth Strategy", and "Presentation Skills." Winners will be awarded participation rights for "TORYUMON TOKYO 2026 REBOOT," airfare, and residency rights at F Ventures' Fukuoka office space.
The call for applications is open to students and U25 entrepreneurs based in Western Japan, with a particular focus on the Kyushu and Setouchi regions. Eligible startups should be in the pre-seed to pre-funding stage. The application deadline is set for Friday, October 23, 2026, at 11:59 PM. Following a document screening process, results are scheduled to be announced around October 30.
TORYUMON has established a proven track record as a major startup event, with previous participants successfully taking their companies public. By providing a platform for deep networking with investors and prominent entrepreneurs, the event serves as a critical "gateway" (the meaning of the term Toryumon) for young founders aiming to secure seed capital and further enriches the growing startup ecosystem.
